Softball Recap: Cossatot River Comes Up Short

Cossatot River fell victim to Lamar and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 15-0 to the Warriors. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cossatot River's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Lamar, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cossatot River will venture away from home to challenge Acorn at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lamar, they will head out to face off against Lavaca at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Golden Arrows have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
