Sedgwick lost to Trinity back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Cardinals came out on top against the Celtics by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

Sedgwick easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-8.

Kalyn Sampson paced Sedgwick's offense, picking up nine kills. Sampson really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with nine. Mackenzie Roberts controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Sedgwick's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Sedgwick and Berean Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity has already played their next matchup (against White City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
