Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cocoa Beach). They walked away with a 12-7 victory over the Space Coast Vipers on Wednesday. The Minutemen haven't had any issues with the Vipers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Connor McGrew made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. McGrew was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Anthony Ceruti was a standout: he scored two runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kristian Wolfe, who scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Cocoa Beach hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Space Coast struck out 12 times.

Cocoa Beach now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Space Coast, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
