Crespi extended their winning streak to ten on Friday, bumping them up to 10-0. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 49-20 win over the Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary Cardinals. The result was nothing new for the Celts, who have now won eight matchups by 25 points or more so far this season.

Crespi found their leader in sophomore Chase Curren, who threw for 240 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 60 yards and a pair of scores. Harlem Bullock was Curren's top target, picking up 90 receiving yards and two TDs.

As for Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 813th, while Crespi is ranked 196th).

Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Miles Galbraith, who picked up 280 receiving yards and three scores. His longest reception was for an incredible 85 yards. Matthew Escobedo was another key player, throwing for 366 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 14.1 yards per attempt.

Looking ahead, Crespi will host Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Celts will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
