Softball Recap: Ridgewood Takes a Loss

Ridgewood fell victim to Tuscarawas Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 on Monday.

Ridgewood's loss dropped their record down to 12-6-1. As for Tuscarawas Valley, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 16-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgewood will face off against Caldwell at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Tuscarawas Valley, they will challenge Hiland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
