Softball Recap: Mount View Mustangs vs. Washington Academy Raiders

Mount View had lost eight straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Saturday they dropped down to 0-4 to make it nine. They lost 10-0 to the Washington Academy Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 on Saturday.

Mount View saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Richards, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That hit was Richards' first of the season.

As for Washington Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average this season.
