Softball Recap: South Albany Takes a Loss

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, South Albany was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They came up short against the Central Panthers, falling 12-2. The Redhawks have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

South Albany saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Tschida, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

South Albany's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Central, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5.

Looking ahead, South Albany will take on Silverton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Redhawks will need to watch out since the Foxes have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Central, they will square off against McKay at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
