Basketball Recap: Wayne County Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wayne County can now relate to. They took a blow against the Marist War Eagles on Tuesday, falling 62-28. The Yellow Jackets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-13.

Wayne County has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 14-11 record this season. As for Marist, they pushed their record up to 27-2 with the victory, which was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season.

Wayne County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marist, they will challenge Stockbridge on Friday. Marist knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Stockbridge likes a good challenge.
