Soccer Recap: West Jordan Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mountain View, West Jordan was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Juab Wasps with a sharp 5-2 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Jaguars' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Juab with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Daxton Reid (2), Kleevens Cabral (2), and Max Sloan.

West Jordan's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Juab, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Jordan will welcome Hillcrest at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Juab, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Manti at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be Manti's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
