Sunnyslope faced Corona del Sol in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the Aztecs. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Aztecs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-21, 25-11.

When it comes to explaining why Sunnyslope lost, don't look at Lainey Johnson. Despite the final result, she had eight digs and one assist.

Erin Clark had an outrageously good game for Corona del Sol as she had 13 digs and five aces. Clark has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.
