Softball Recap: Lincoln Prep Takes a Loss

Lincoln Prep is still winless after their game against Jonesboro-Hodge on Wednesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-8 last Tuesday.

Lincoln Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Jonesboro-Hodge, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-4.

Coming up, Lincoln Prep will square off against Summerfield at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jonesboro-Hodge, they will face off against Mansfield at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
