Volleyball Recap: Atlantic Christian Falls Short of Pine in the Playoffs

Atlantic Christian and Pine squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Atlantic Christian had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Knights. The Sharks haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 20-25, 25-19, 25-16.

Atlantic Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Pine, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Atlantic Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Sagemont Prep on the 21st. As for Pine, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Lake Worth Christian on the 21st.
