Baseball Game Preview: Silverton Foxes vs. West Albany Bulldogs

Silverton is 2-8 against West Albany since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Foxes will look to defend their home field against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Silverton will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Silverton will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Lebanon, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Foxes walked away with an 8-4 win over the Warriors on Friday.

Meanwhile, West Albany unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 4-1 to Corvallis.

Silverton pushed their record up to 19-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for West Albany, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.

Silverton might still be hurting after the 12-3 loss they got from West Albany in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Foxes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
