Volleyball Recap: Chippewa Falls Triumphs

Chippewa Falls saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Wausau East Lumberjacks by a score of 2-0.

Lauren Shepherd paced Chippewa Falls' offense, picking up six kills. Shepherd got some help from Barrett Boisvert and her eight assists. Boisvert was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Chippewa Falls' win bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Wausau East, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Chippewa Falls has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Winneconne on the 13th. As for Wausau East, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Newman Catholic on the 13th.
