The Fairmont Golden Tornadoes extended their postseason success on Friday against the West Bladen Knights. Everything went their way against the Knights as they made off with a 59-38 victory. Fairmont has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 21 points or more this season.

Fairmont got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Landon Cummings out in front who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Cummings is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Issac McKellar, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

Despite the loss, West Bladen still got an impressive performance from Chase Williams, who scored 20 points. That was a full 52.6% of West Bladen's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Fairmont's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-5. As for West Bladen, their loss ended an 18-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 23-3.

Fairmont will head out on the road to square off against Heide Trask at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Heide Trask will roll in looking for their 20th straight victory, something Fairmont surely won't give up without a fight. West Bladen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
