            Softball Recap: False River Gators vs. Episcopal Knights        
        
		
        
        
            False River was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight  defeat. They lost  21-15 to the Episcopal Knights. Even if the Gators couldn't come away with the  victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.
  Ella Ringo and  Carlee Armond did some serious damage despite the final result:  Ringo  went 4-for-5 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple, while  Armond  went 2-for-4 with four  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. That  triple marked the first that  Ringo  hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ramie Guidroz, who  scored two  runs while going 4-for-5.
False River's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Episcopal, they now  have a winning record of 8-7.
 Looking ahead, False River will venture away from home to  challenge Central Private  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Episcopal, they will face off against Baker at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Buffaloes have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.73  runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of.
