Softball Recap: Whippany Park Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Whippany Park's offense. They lost 7-0 to the Morris Knolls Golden Eagles on Monday. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 7-0 to the Golden Eagles when the teams met back in May of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Whippany Park saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julia Beers, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Whippany Park now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Morris Knolls, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whippany Park will venture away from home to take on Union City at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Morris Knolls, they will challenge Cedar Grove at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
