Softball Recap: Vista Ridge Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

Vista Ridge's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They never let the Weiss Wolves get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory.

Vista Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Weiss and nudges their season record down to 8-7.

Coincidentally, Vista Ridge and Weiss will both be playing Lake Belton the next time they take the field. Weiss will head out to face Lake Belton at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Vista Ridge will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
