Softball Recap: Pittsfield Takes a Loss

Pittsfield lost against Williamsville on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Saukees took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bullets. The Saukees have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Taylor Peebles was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Presley Brown, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Pittsfield's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7-1. As for Williamsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pittsfield will venture away from home to face off against Rushville-Industry at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Williamsville, they will head out to take on Rochester at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The last five games the Rockets have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
