Soccer Recap: Waynesville Falls to Carthage in First Game of Season

Waynesville had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 6-0 to Carthage. Waynesville was not able to make up for their defeat to Carthage from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Carthage has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waynesville will look to takes advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they takes on Sullivan at 6:40 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carthage, they will welcome New Heights Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
