Lawson typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Lawson Lightning by a score of 71-60. The victory was nothing new for the Royals as they're now sitting on three straight.

Despite the loss, Lawson still got an impressive performance from Chandler Galloway, who went 9-for-16 en route to 26 points and five boards. Galloway's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Austin King was another key player, going 5-for-11 to rack up 11 points and seven rebounds.

Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points over those games. As for Lawson, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-10.

Looking ahead, Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet will be playing in front of their home fans against Glencliff at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lawson, they will head out to take on Hume-Fogg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hume-Fogg will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Lawson surely won't give up without a fight.
