After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hobart, Griffith was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the River Forest Ingots as they made off with a 13-0 victory. The contest marked Griffith's most dominant win of the season so far.

Their offense was hitting River Forest from everywhere, as 11 different players booted in a goal. Miriam Avalos led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Griffith pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those four games. As for River Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Griffith wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 4-3 loss against Wheeler on the 11th. As for River Forest, they will head out to challenge Hammond Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. River Forest are facing Hammond Central at the right time seeing as Hammond Central are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
