Softball Recap: Salem Hills Has No Trouble Against Wasatch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Salem Hills had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against the Wasatch Wasps as they made off with a 10-0 win. The Skyhawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 games by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Camryn Guest, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one triple. Emmery Wilson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Salem Hills was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in seven consecutive matchups.

Salem Hills' victory bumped their record up to 24-4. As for Wasatch, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-21.

Salem Hills will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wasps: the pair will be back at it again later today.
