Indianapolis Shortridge had to settle for second on Tuesday, but Aries Smith sure wasn't going down easily. Smith wasn't messing around, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. The contest was her third straight with three or more stolen bases.

Smith and Indianapolis Shortridge will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Indianapolis Washington at 5:30 p.m. on June 17.
