Soccer Recap: Shepherd Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Shepherd and Swan Valley squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Shepherd had to settle for second. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 6-0. Shepherd were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Swan Valley apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2020.

Shepherd's defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Swan Valley, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-5-2.

Shepherd does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Swan Valley, they will face off against Freeland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
