Volleyball Recap: Stoughton Vikings vs. Edgerton Crimson Tide

Stoughton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Edgerton Crimson Tide. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crimson Tide apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While Stoughton was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-23.

Emma Trautsch paced Stoughton's offense, picking up seven kills. Trautsch got some help from Lia Tiede and her ten assists. Finally, Ella Maag kept Stoughton's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
