Giltner is a perfect 10-0 against Hampton since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Giltner Hornets just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Hampton Hawks at 7:30 p.m. Giltner is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Giltner is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Silver Lake on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Giltner was beaten by Silver Lake 64-21. The Hornets were down 45-17 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hampton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past Dorchester 70-32 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Longhorns: they've now won five in a row.

Hampton's win bumped their record up to 5-15. As for Giltner, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14.
