Basketball Recap: Wingfield Falcons vs. McComb Tigers
The Wingfield Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight defeat. Their rough 70-48 loss to McComb might stick with them for a while. Wingfield has struggled against the Tigers recently, as their match on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Wingfield lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tyler Arrington. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points. Arrington is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 18 or more in the last five games he's played. Kentrell Jordan was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three steals.
Wingfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-21. As for McComb, their win bumped their record up to 16-7.
Wingfield will head out on the road to face off against the Rangers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Richland is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. McComb does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
