Basketball Game Preview: Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies vs. Glenn Falcons

The Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies will face off against the Glenn Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Plymouth is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Northridge on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Plymouth lost 60-37 to Northridge. The defeat continues a trend for the Pilgrims/Rockies in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Glenn, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They strolled past Kouts with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 43-26.

Plymouth better keep an eye on Addison Reese. She was instrumental in Glenn's win, going 7 for 15 on her way to 20 points and four steals. Those 20 points gave Reese a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Daelynn Nance, who posted eight points and eight rebounds.

Glenn was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kouts only racked up four assists.

Glenn has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for Plymouth, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-8.

Plymouth couldn't quite finish off Glenn when the teams last played back in December of 2024 and fell 35-33. Can Plymouth avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
