Geneva came out on top against Wheaton North on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Falcons. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Falcons on Friday, they had to take a 1-0 defeat.

Geneva's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Miles Dibble, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI Dibble has posted over his last 11 contests.

The win snapped Geneva's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 19-9 record. As for Wheaton North, their loss dropped their record down to 12-14-1.

Geneva has already played their next matchup, a 10-1 victory against St. Charles East on the 13th. Wheaton North has also already played their next game (against Glenbard North), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
