Baseball Recap: Dresden Takes a Loss

Dresden lost against Greenfield last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lions fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 3-2. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dresden's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Greenfield, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dresden will head out to face off against Halls at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greenfield, they will venture away from home to square off against Clarksburg at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rockets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.77 runs per game on average), something the Yellowjackets will no doubt try to take advantage of.
