Softball Recap: Lewis County Panthers vs. East Hickman County Eagles
East Hickman County hit Lewis County with a four-run seventh inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 5-4. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 2-0.
Taya Tiller made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Julianna Roden, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
