Soccer Recap: Dr. Phillips Takes a Loss

Dr. Phillips and East Ridge squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Dr. Phillips had to settle for second. They lost 9-1 to the East Ridge Knights. Having soared to a lofty nine goals in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Dr. Phillips has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7-1 record this season. As for East Ridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4-2.

Dr. Phillips does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Ridge, they will square off against Olympia at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. East Ridge will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last.
