Volleyball Recap: Loomis Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Loomis had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons. The Wolves not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 1, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Loomis walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-15, 25-18.

Loomis was led to victory by Addison Perry and Camry Anderson. Perry had eight digs and two aces, while Anderson had four digs and four aces. The dominant performance also gave Perry a new career-high in assists (two).

They weren't the only good server: Loomis was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wilcox-Hildreth only served three aces.

Looking ahead, Loomis will venture away from home to face off against Overton on Thursday. Wilcox-Hildreth has already played their next contest (against Alma), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
