Last Monday, Cedar Park Christian earned a 7-3 victory over Seattle Christian. The seven-run effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Shelby Southard was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Southard is also crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.
In other batting news, Adelaide Foster was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI. Another player making a difference was Evoleht Stuhr, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
Meanwhile, while Fife put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Foss. Fife was the clear victor by a 19-0 margin over Foss. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.
Fife let Kaitlin Christiansen and Mallory Geving run wild. Christiansen scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances, while Geving went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Christiansen also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Hailey Ufer was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with four RBI and one double.
Fife was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .318 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
Cedar Park Christian pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Fife, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
Friday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Cedar Park Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .375. However, it's not like Fife struggles in that department as they've averaged .465. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
