Soccer Recap: Lincoln Park Comes Up Short

Lincoln Park fell victim to Divine Child and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 6-0 to the Falcons. While losing is never fun, Lincoln Park can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 175th, while Divine Child are ranked 49th).

Lincoln Park has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4-1 record this season. As for Divine Child, their win bumped their record up to 5-0-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln Park will square off against Inter-City Baptist at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Divine Child, they will head out to take on Cranbrook Kingswood at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
