North Ridgeville had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against Lakewood by a score of 3-1. This was payback for North Ridgeville, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

North Ridgeville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-15, 25-23, 25-19.

Macie Miller paced North Ridgeville's offense, picking up 16 kills. Miller got some help from Sydney Dales and her 18 assists. Miller was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

When it comes to explaining why Lakewood lost, don't look at Audrey McNulty. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs and one assist. Aliyah Plicka also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

North Ridgeville's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Lakewood, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

North Ridgeville has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Beaumont School on the 2nd. As for Lakewood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Buckeye on the 2nd.
