Sidney is 6-1 against Walton since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Team will look to defend their home field against the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Sidney is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Dryden 16-1 on Friday. The Team not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 20, 2024 (when they won 24-4).

Riley Finch was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Sidney got a massive performance out of Kaleb Monroe, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Monroe also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Lucas Mott, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Sidney always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Walton sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 win over South Kortright Central on Tuesday.

Travis Houck was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Jaden Serra was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Walton's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Sidney, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
