They snuck past the Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Tigers with a 32-26 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hurricanes also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.

South Plaquemines' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

South Plaquemines has already played their next matchup, a 61-57 win against Glen Oaks on the 6th. As for Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 45-30 defeat against Covenant Christian Academy on the 6th.
