Volleyball Recap: Make It Six in a Row for Round Rock Christian Academy

Round Rock Christian Academy had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They blew past the Meridian Lions 3-0. The Crusaders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-11, 25-20.

Leading Round Rock Christian Academy to victory were Lauren Woodard and Brylie Turner. Woodard had 16 assists and three digs, while Turner had two aces. Woodard has been hot, having posted 13 or more assists the last five times she's played. Arden Dyess also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Round Rock Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 21 consecutive matches.
