Football Recap: Kidder County's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Kidder County entered their tilt with Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig]/Flasher on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 38-28 victory over the Storm. This was payback for the Wolves, who suffered a 38-8 loss the last time these two teams met.

Kidder County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Preston Fischer out in front who picked up 88 receiving yards and a pair of scores, and also rushed for 69 yards and two touchdowns. Mason Whitman was another key rusher, rushing for 151 yards and one TD while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Kidder County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 262 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 262 rushing yards in five consecutive games.

Kidder County's record now sits at 6-1. As for Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig]/Flasher, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.

Coming up, Kidder County will face off against Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock/Strasburg/Zeeland on Friday. As for Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig]/Flasher, they will square off against Richardton-Taylor/Hebron on Friday.
