Fosston lost to Thief River Falls back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Fosston Greyhounds came out on top in a nail-biter against the Thief River Falls Prowlers, sneaking past 54-51.

When it comes to explaining why Thief River Falls lost, don't look at Bridger Wilcox. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double with 24 points and nine rebounds. The match was Wilcox's 13th in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Caden Rose, who posted six points.

Fosston's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Thief River Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.

Coming up, Fosston will head out on the road to take on Grygla-Gatzke at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thief River Falls, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-61 victory against Warroad on the 21st.
