Rim of the World lost to Fontana back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Fighting Scots came out on top against the Steelers by a score of 2-0. The game was the first time the Fighting Scots have beaten the Steelers on their court since October 5, 2023.

Jaelyn Granado paced Rim of the World's offense, picking up ten kills. Granado got some help from Brynn Bagnell and her 23 assists. Granado also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Lexi Collins, racking up three apiece.

Fontana's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shaila Espinoza, who had 13 digs.

Rim of the World's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Fontana, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Rim of the World didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Hesperia on the 6th. As for Fontana, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Barstow on the 6th.
