Volleyball Recap: St. George's Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Skipstone Academy on Tuesday, St. George came back down to earth. The Athletes came up short against LaGrange Academy on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Athletes have struggled against LaGrange Academy recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16, 25-4.

St. George's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for LaGrange Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. George's will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Oak Mountain Academy at 5:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for LaGrange Academy, they will head out to challenge Rock Springs Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
