Basketball Recap: Cloverdale's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Cloverdale's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They secured a 34-28 W over the West Vigo Vikings. This was payback for the Clovers, who suffered a 42-38 loss the last time these two teams met.

Despite the defeat, West Vigo saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Rese Belleu posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Lydia Jones, who earned eight points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Cloverdale's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-14. As for West Vigo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Cloverdale will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Crawfordsville at 6:00 p.m. As for West Vigo, they will head out on the road to take on Sullivan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
