Corinth Christian Academy lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Brunswick Christian Academy, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's game. The Warriors blew past the Eagles 15-3 on Thursday. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 11 runs or more this season.

Peyton Smith made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over 5.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-4. Corinth Christian Academy is undefeated when Smith posts two or more stolen bases, but 1-3 otherwise.

In other batting news, Jace Campbell was a standout: he scored four runs and stole five bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Justin Tolle, who scored a run and stole five bases while going 2-for-4.

Corinth Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
