Basketball Preview: Plattsmouth Blue Devils vs. Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays

Plattsmouth hasn't had much luck against Ashland-Greenwood recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Averi Winters had an outrageously good game as she went 9 for 17 on her way to 23 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Those 23 points gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mila Wehrbein, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 13 points and three steals.

Plattsmouth was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Ashland-Greenwood played a tough game on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Mercy 54-27. The Bluejays were down 38-17 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
