It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lamar County can now relate to. They came up short against the Fannin County Rebels on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Trojans' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lamar County was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 25-14.

Fannin County found their leader in sophomore Amberly Patterson, who had 12 digs and one assist. Patterson has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Lamar County's defeat dropped their record down to 23-8. As for Fannin County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-19 record this season.

Lamar County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fannin County, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Bremen on the 22nd.
