Baseball Recap: Chaminade Victorious

It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Chaminade ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They skirted past the Holy Trinity Titans 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Flyers: when they faced off against the Titans on Tuesday, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Carlos Pereira tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

On the hitting side, Michael Gardner was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that he brought in this season. Danny Anicito was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-5.

Chaminade's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Holy Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
