Softball Recap: Inglemoor Drops Season-High Score on Bellevue

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Inglemoor). Everything went their way against the Bellevue Wolverines on Friday as they made off with a 23-5 win. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Alexa Saladin (2025) (PLU) was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzy Vannoy (2028), who went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles.

Inglemoor always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .714. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .514 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Inglemoor is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Bellevue, they dropped their record down to 0-15 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Inglemoor will take on Woodinville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 11.4 runs per game this season. As for Bellevue, they will face off against Sammamish at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wolverines are facing the RedHawks at the right time seeing as the RedHawks are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
